Dr. Beth Spenceri

Beth Spenceri, M.D. was born in Kansas City and raised in Sedalia, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (with a pre-med emphasis) at Rockhurst University as a Pre-Med Scholar. Dr. Spenceri earned her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. After an internship year at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, she returned to Saint Louis University and completed a dermatology residency, serving as co-chief resident during her final year of training.

Following residency, she pursued a fellowship in Mohs surgery at Laser and Dermatology Skin Cancer Center (St. Louis) where she remained as an Associate after completing her fellowship.

In 2004, family ties and friends drew her back to Kansas City where she's been practicing Mohs surgery as well as raising three children ever since with her husband of 25+ years, Tom.

She is double board-certified in dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (more commonly referred to as "Mohs Surgery"). Dr. Spenceri has over 20 years of dermatology and Mohs surgical experience and is consistently awarded Kansas City Magazine "Top Doc" recognition by her peers.

Dr. Spenceri prioritizes quality personalized patient care, patient and staff education, fostering a top-notch health care team culture, and excellence in surgical and Mohs laboratory processes and evaluation.

In 2020, Dr. Spenceri pursued further education to achieve life coach certification. In addition to coaching physicians, she uses coaching concepts to help her patients and her healthcare team achieve optimal health and wellbeing in sustainable and empowering ways.

In her free time, Dr. Spenceri enjoys daily 5K walks, reading historical fiction and self-improvement books, trying out new recipes, and making memories with family and friends.

She is currently accepting new and established patients for Mohs surgical care.
