Dr. Julie Green
Dr. Green grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri and obtained her undergraduate degrees (BS/BA degrees in Biology) from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
She attended St. Louis University in the combined MD/PhD program, earning her PhD in Pharmacological and Physiological Services in 2008 and her MD in 2010.
She completed her transitional intern year at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Des Peres, Missouri, and her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. She served as the chief resident during her final year of residency.
Dr. Green has practiced dermatology in the Kansas City area since 2014, both in private practice and at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where she also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas.
She treats patients of all ages and specializes in general medical dermatology concerns, including treatment of eczema, psoriasis, rashes, acne, skin cancer, and skin screening examinations.
She resides in Overland Park, Kansas with her husband and three sons, and likes to attend her children’s sporting events, read fiction, work puzzles of all types, and attend live music in her free time.
